Windber Church Announcement
On Sunday, August 21, 2022, our Windber church was struck by lightning during a severe storm that hit the area. This is believed to have started a fire that burned for just under an hour before firefighters were able to get it under control. The building suffered extensive damage and is currently being assessed to determine next steps. The congregation is planning to continue meeting in an alternate location at this time. We are thankful for the leadership of Lay Pastor Mike Long as he endeavors to move this congregation forward and Pastor Rob Osborn, Ebensburg Lakeside, for the support he is providing to Pastor Mike and the Windber congregation.
