The 119th annual Pittsburgh District Assembly will be held on June 5th & June 6th at Mt. Chestnut Nazarene Retreat Center.
It will begin on Friday evening at 6:30pm with our Service of Ministry: Celebrating The Call to Vocational Ministry, where we will grant first time District License to those eligible as well as recognizing those who are stepping into retirement. The capstone is witnessing the sacred calling of ordination as an Elder in the Church of the Nazarene of those who have met the requirements and been invited to join this special group. There will be a light reception to follow.
Saturday morning at 9:00am will begin our Business Meeting. Delegates be sure to register between 8:00-9:00am. This is a hard deadline as we will be using electronic voting.
We will welcome our Jurisdictional General Superintendent, Dr. Christian Sarmiento . We are eager to get to know he and his wife, Margit.
