Encuentro is a missions trip event for NYI groups from the USA/Canada region to go and serve for a week in a Latin American country. During this trip, teams partner with local churches to aid and collaborate with vacation Bible school projects, light construction projects, and to serve alongside our brothers and sisters in that country to further the kingdom of God.

COST
- Registration – $715 – A $200 deposit is required to reserve you spot on the trip.
****Check and or money orders are the only acceptable form of payment.****
ADDITIONAL COSTS: Airfare & baggage fees, lunch on days traveling to and from Costa Rica, excursion day activity and personal spending money.
WHO CAN ATTEND
Students and young adults involved in NYI are highly encouraged to attend, as well as NYI adult volunteers, leaders, and parents.
ACCOMMODATIONS
All the USA/Canada teams participating in the event stay will be staying in a dorm setting with your group. Dorms are assigned by male and female.
MEALS
Breakfast and lunch are provided by the Encuentro team. Dinner and other meals are provided by the hosting local church and their community members and often include local traditional cuisine which may not comply with dietary restrictions.
