Additional Information:

Family Information:
Dr. Faverty grew up in a family of five, parents and three sisters. Her father was in the Air Force for 20 years, so they moved a lot. In a way, the constant moving was a blessing, though. Her family pulled together to weather the changes and they grew up in a close family.

They moved to her mother’s home, Hermitage, PA, when her Dad retired. Brenda and her sisters all made additional moves for jobs. Eventually, she and her older sister returned to Hermitage. Brenda’s younger sister, however, continued to move as her husband progressed in his job. They had two children, giving Brenda a niece and a nephew. The four of them all lived in the West.  They lost the older sister in 2014 and Brenda’s parents are now dealing with the problems of old age. Brenda lives with them to help out.
