District Monthly Prayer – December

Rev. Daniel Eddings   -

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.” John 3:16-17 (NIV)

Make the verse personal

* Insert your name in the blank, then the names of those you know that need to know the love of God personally.
“For God so loved _______ that He gave His one and only Son, that if _________ believes in Him __________ shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son for __________ to condemn __________, but to save __________ through Him.” John 3:16-17 (NIV)

Spend time with those in your household

Plan a time to read the story of Jesus’ birth from Luke 2:1-20 and then discuss the following:
How does Jesus’ birth show us that He is for all the world?
What was the Shepherds response when they realized who Jesus was? What is your response?

Hands on project:
Prepare and send some Christmas cards that share the love of Jesus to those you know personally who need to know that Jesus came for them. Sign and pray over each card by praying for the person who will receive it.

Living in Community and sharing the truth that Jesus Is For All the World

As you go about your day, pray for those you encounter along the way. Be intentional. Sit a little longer in the parking lot of the store and pray for the clerk that just cashed you out. Or the worker that disinfected your cart. Or the one that packed your drive-thru order. Or your bank teller, gas station attendant, doctor.

Do the same for those that may interrupt your day. Or cause you frustration. Or take your parking space. Or cut you off. Or believe differently than you. Or oppose you directly. Jesus came for them too.
